A Webflow form can send its submissions somewhere other than Webflow. Point it at your InboxPanda endpoint and each submission arrives in an inbox where it's labeled, summarized, forwarded to whoever should have it and answered, next to the email your customers send you.
There are two ways to do it. Pick by what you want to keep.
| Form action | Webflow webhook | |
|---|---|---|
| What you change | One form's Action and Method | A webhook in your site settings |
| Webflow still keeps submissions | No | Yes |
| Webflow's success message | Replaced by a thank-you page | Kept |
| Covers | That one form | Every form on the site |

Before you start
Create an inbox: type your email on the home page and press Create your inbox. There's no password and no card. Open the link we email you to claim it, then open Settings, then Messages in, and copy your endpoint. It looks like
https://inboxpanda.io/f/your-form-id.2
Way 1: the form's action
- 1
In the Designer, select the Form Block (the form itself, not a field inside it).
- 2
Open its settings.
- 3
Set Action to your endpoint, and Method to POST.
- 4
Make sure every field has a Name. That name is what you'll see in your inbox, so
Name,EmailandMessageread better thanField 2. - 5
Publish the site.
With a custom action, the form behaves like a plain HTML form: it sends to your endpoint instead of to Webflow, and Webflow's own success message and redirect no longer run. After sending, visitors see a thank-you page instead. To send them to a page of your own, like
/thank-you, set it in InboxPanda under Settings, then After someone sends, then use your own page.- 1

Way 2: a Webflow webhook
- 1
In Webflow, open your site's settings, then Apps & integrations.
- 2
Under Webhooks, add a webhook with the trigger type Form submission.
- 3
Paste your endpoint as the URL, and save.
- 4
Publish the site.
Webflow then sends every form submission on the site to your endpoint, and still keeps its own copy and shows its own success message. InboxPanda reads Webflow's webhook format, so each answer arrives under its field's name.
Use one inbox per site this way. To split one site's forms into different inboxes, use Way 1 on each form instead.

Check it works
Open your published site and send the form from a different email address than your own. It shows up in your inbox within a few seconds, and you get an email about it.
If it doesn't arrive:
- Look in Spam. A message that only says "test" can land there. Press Not spam to bring it back.
- Check you're on the published site. The Designer's preview doesn't send forms.
- Check the Method is POST (Way 1). A GET sends nothing your inbox can keep.

What changes with an inbox behind the form
Webflow's notification email tells you a message came in. Your inbox tells you what it is: one of your own labels, like Sales lead or Project enquiry, a one-line summary, and the facts the sender wrote, like a budget or a deadline. Spam goes to its own folder and is never emailed to you.
Each kind of message can go to its own person on arrival, and Panda drafts a reply from your notes. On Pro and Business it can answer routine questions on its own, five minutes after they arrive unless you stop it.
