MCP and CLI
Let an AI assistant or a script create an inbox and get the form code, with no account and no API key.
For AI builders
Tell your AI tool to read inboxpanda.io/llms.txt. It describes the endpoint, the options and an example form, so a sentence like this is enough:
Add a contact form to my site using inboxpanda.io/llms.txt and send submissions to you@yourshop.com.
The full help is at inboxpanda.io/llms-full.txt.
MCP server
The MCP server is at https://inboxpanda.io/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in). Add it to Claude Code with:
claude mcp add --transport http inboxpanda https://inboxpanda.io/api/mcp
It has two tools:
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
create_inbox |
Creates an inbox for an email address. Takes email, and optionally name and framework (html, react, nextjs or astro). Returns the endpoint and the form code. |
get_form_snippet |
Returns the form code for an existing endpoint, in HTML, React, Next.js or Astro. |
CLI
With Node 18 or later, nothing to install:
npx inboxpanda init --email you@yourshop.com
| Flag | What it does |
|---|---|
--email |
Where messages go. Asked for if you leave it out in a terminal; required in scripts. |
--name |
The inbox's name, like Contact or Support. Contact if you leave it out. |
--framework |
html, react, nextjs or astro. HTML if you leave it out. |
--json |
Prints {"endpoint", "id", "snippet"} for scripts and agents. |
Claiming the inbox
An inbox made this way works at once, but it's unclaimed: we email its address a link, and until it's opened, messages are kept without being emailed to anyone. See Getting started.
