Forwarding your email address
Send the email that reaches an address like support@ to your inbox, next to your form's messages.
Your InboxPanda address
Once you claim it, each inbox has its own email address, ending in @in.inboxpanda.io. Mail sent to it lands in the inbox, is labeled and summarized like a form message, and you can answer it from there.
You can use it two ways: forward an address you already have to it, or put it on your site as your contact address, so there's nothing to forward.
Set up forwarding
Open Get set up and choose email, or Settings then Messages in. Type the address your customers write to, like support@yourshop.com. InboxPanda looks up where that address's mail is hosted and shows the steps for it: Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook.com, Microsoft 365, Cloudflare Email Routing, Fastmail, iCloud Mail, Zoho Mail, Yahoo Mail, Proton Mail, or another provider.
Where you can, forward only the mail sent to that one address, with a filter or a rule. Forwarding everything you receive works too, but every email then counts toward your plan's monthly messages, personal mail included.
Confirmation emails
Gmail and some other providers send a confirmation to a new forwarding address. It arrives in your inbox, and the guide shows it, so you can confirm without leaving InboxPanda.
When your admin has to do it
On Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, forwarding may be switched off for your account. The guide then shows the steps for whoever manages your email, and you can send them those steps.
Check it works
From another address, like a second account or a friend's, send an email to the address you forward. Gmail doesn't forward mail an account sends to itself. The last step turns green when it arrives.
Later, Connections tells you if forwarding goes quiet: if an inbox that usually gets email most weeks hasn't had any for a while, it asks you to check.
Replying from your own address
Your answers go out as "Your inbox's name via InboxPanda". To answer from your own address instead, connect your domain: see Using your own domain.
