Help / Panda Intelligence
Replies
Panda drafts your replies from your notes, and on Pro and Business answers routine questions on its own, after a five-minute hold.
Drafts
Open a message and press Write with AI: Panda drafts a reply from your notes and the sender's message. Rewrite tries again. Edit it as you like, then send.
- Free: 10 drafts a month, when you ask for one.
- Pro and Business: every real message gets a draft as it arrives.
If your notes don't cover something the sender asked, the draft says what to fill in before you send. See Notes and Teach Panda.
Automatic answers
On Pro and Business, a label can answer on its own. Switch on Answers on its own for that label in Teach Panda, then Labels. Panda then answers its messages only when all of these hold:
- You have notes, and they cover the question.
- Panda is sure of the label.
- The message isn't urgent.
- The answer has no link, address or phone number that isn't in your notes.
Otherwise the answer waits as a draft for you. Free doesn't answer on its own.
The five-minute hold
An automatic answer waits five minutes before it goes out. The message shows Sends at and the time, with Undo. Press it and the answer stops and waits as a draft. Deleting the message stops it too.
Messages Panda answered show Answered in the list.
Where answers come from
Answers go out as "Your inbox via InboxPanda", or from your own address once you connect your domain. See Using your own domain. When the sender replies, their reply joins the conversation in your inbox.
AI replies on your plan
Each draft Panda writes when a message arrives counts as one AI reply, whether you send it or Panda answers on its own: 1,000 a month on Pro and 3,000 on Business, then pay as you go. Write with AI and Rewrite don't count on Pro and Business. See Plans and billing.
